But what to do with your new masterpieces? Here are some suggestions.
1) Do it for your self first. You have to remember to crack yourself up and make yourself one of your primary target audiences. If you start formatting your work to make other folks happy it will lose it authenticity and become less fun for you to do. You will actually do better by striving to not please others first. (though sometimes you obviously have no choice)
2) Use the internet. It is really easy to publish work and try new formats using the internet. Get something out on the web and keep updating it. Promote it via the web, in print, and in any other way you can think of.
3) Make it easily available for your readers to republish. Provide easy-to-use clip art to churches and parishoners (who LOVE free resources). Get it out there in any way you can to get a reader base started. Don't worry about cash so much until after you have your style/format ironed out and have a reader base. Be sure your URL, copyright, and identity are included with your work. Don't be shy ... you have to be identified with your work.
That is how Reverend Fun cartoons are made.
